iPhone Tips – Back Up Your iPhone Camera Roll 📷🎞 DIY in 5 Ep 59

How do you back up your iPhone photos to your Windows PC? Get your Lightning cable and connect you iPhone. Your Photos app should automatically launch, if it doesn’t, just search for it in the start menu. Now click “import” and select the photos you want to transfer. If you’re looking to free up space, the Photos app will give you the option of deleting your imported photos from the phone. On Mac OS do the same thing, get your Lightning cable and plug your iPhone into your Mac. Your Photos app should automatically launch, if it doesn’t, just open it up from Launchpad or your applications folder. When using Photos, click on “import” and backup the photos and videos. The Photos app also has an option to “delete items after import” you can select if you’re looking to free up space from your phone. When you don’t have your notebook around you can always use a cloud service if you happen to be on Wi-Fi, pay a monthly fee, and trust it won’t get hacked. If that’s not a viable option for you, there are handy little USBs for your iPhone, like the Kingston Data Traveler Duo Bolt. They plug into the Lightning port and backup your photos no matter where you are, and you can set the app to perform a backup automatically when it is plugged in.
