Climate Change Activists are Turning Bridges Into Makeshift Gardens

Extinction Rebellion enters its fourth day of protests in London. Climate change activists have occupied Marble Arch, Parliament Square, Oxford Circus and Waterloo Bridge causing traffic disruptions. The group has three basic demands. They are calling the British government to declare an ecological emergency and take immediate action to reduce carbon emissions to zero by 2025. They also want the government to establish a citizens' assembly that will be overseeing these changes. The "rebels" are vowing to stay until the Government will get in talks with them. ► Subscribe for more tech & culture videos: http://on.mash.to/subscribe ◄ MORE FROM MASHABLE ‌• Video - https://youtu.be/6ElleCub6uM ‌• Video - https://youtu.be/jAu1ZsTCA64 ‌• Video - https://youtu.be/W8T6fYt9-tA  Subscribe to Mashable: http://on.mash.to/subscribe  Best of playlist: https://on.mash.to/BestOf  MASHABLE ACROSS THE WEB  Mashable.com: http://on.mash.to/1hCcRpl  Facebook: http://bit.ly/2T5bgLp Twitter: http://bit.ly/2Cx8gSN Instagram: http://bit.ly/2Tctzi3 Mashable is for superfans.
