Promoting Inclusion with Microsoft Soundscape

Microsoft engineer Amos Miller shares some of the more technical underpinnings of the app Soundscape, which is designed to assist people who are blind or have low vision through 3D sound. Microsoft recently teamed up with WE and the band X Ambassadors to teach about accessibility, using Soundscape as an example of technology promoting inclusion. Students used Soundscape to help them navigate to the band̢۪s rehearsal for an intimate performance and Q&A. X Ambassadors keyboardist Casey is blind, and the band are major advocates for accessibility and inclusion.
